Matt Wachtel

Founder and Elite Trainer

Matt has been a personal trainer for over thirteen years and has a proven track record of helping clients reach their potential. He understands that you spend your hard-earned money on personal training to meet your specific goals. If you want to focus on being the best that you can be, you have to train with the best.

Matt's desire to excel in physical fitness was born when he enlisted in the United States Army. Having graduated top in his class in the hardest basic training in the country at Fort Benning, Georgia (home of the Infantry), Matt began his journey pushing himself and those around him to be the best! Prior to completing his service with the Army, Matt reached the rank of Sergeant and was a specialist in air defense artillery.

Today, Matt not only enjoys inspiring his clients to achieve their goals, but working with his team of trainers at Body Bank Fitness to help them foster many of the disciplines that have made Matt one of Rockland County's most sought after personal trainers.

Casey Weber

Elite Trainer

Casey has been involved in the fitness industry for over 13 years and holds a bachelors degree from Marist College in NY.

A young mother of three, she understands the challenges of maintaining a healthy lifestyle amidst a busy schedule and her own personal experiences with health and fitness have been her driving force for helping others.

From training young athletes to working with older clients, Casey has developed safe and effective fitness programs to help her clients reach their goals.  Her passion for people and fitness come together to make a truly effective trainer.

Steven Ramos

Elite Trainer

A former collegiate athlete at North Carolina State University and current personal trainer certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).  Steven is qualified to work with any individual regardless of their goals.  He knows the impact that a positive attitude, hard work and determination can have can have on results and he knows how to motivate a person to achieve their goals.

Whether a person is interested in losing weight, gaining muscle or increasing strength and speed, he is well versed in every aspect of athletic training and overall fitness.  He comes prepared with the knowledge and implementation skills to get a person seeing life changing results!  Steven has a passion for helping any individual better themselves, finding great pleasure in helping athletes achieve their athletic goals.

Steven's favorite clients are those who are inexperienced in fitness.  These are the clients that Steven feels benefit most from his training because more then helping an athlete get to the next level, or showing an experienced lifer different techniques, he loves to teach people who currently have minimal to no exercise in their life the importance of exercise and how to implement proper training into their lifestyles in order to maintain overall health.

Lou Balaguer

As an athlete at an early age, Lou grew up to love every aspect of training, exercise and competing. Lou learned the importance of health and fitness in order to succeed in sports.

With a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine along with a background in wrestling, boxing, martial arts and gymnastics, Lou has the experience, knowledge, and a firm grasp on personal fitness training.

Lou is currently a boxing coach and provides the motivation needed to take clients to the next level…even when they think they can’t. As a fighter, Lou has the never give up mentality and will not quit on you as a trainer. Your failure is his failure. Your success is his success.

Tim Munch

Timothy Munch is an International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) Certified Personal Trainer, holding additional certifications in:

Performance Enhancement

Tim is a former Division I and II collegiate athlete who brings ten plus tears of personal training experience to Body Bank Fitness.  He has successfully designed programs for all levels ranging from adolescents, collegiate and professional athletes.  

Tim is a motivated individual whose passion and intensity is guaranteed to hype you up every time you enter the gym.  He encourages everyone to be positive, because without it, success can not be achieved.

Joe Carioscia

Joe Brings 12+ years of personal training experience to Body Bank and has successfully designed programs for adolescents, seniors, beginners, as well as, professional athletes and weekend warriors.  Joe takes pride in helping his clients reach and maintain their specific fitness goals; which include; flexibility & strength training, weight-loss / management, bodybuilding and golf-specific conditioning / performance enhancement.

Joe's unique ability to identify what will keep you motivated, together with this passion for fitness and helping others, will ensure that every workout is a successful one and brings you a step closer to your goals.

Joe is a OCB Professional Natural Bodybuilder and enjoys participating in half marathons and Spartan Races. He actually qualified for the 2014 Spartan World Championship!
